But, Kangana for sure has proved to be one of the best actresses in the Hindi Cinema. Brilliant concept and acting! Possibly one of the best films on women empowerment according to me.

The characters are somewhat Fellinni like in nature but the story is certainly not Fellinni like. The imagery is so well defined of a period in British vs Indian history it immerses you into that time and feels like you are a part of it. Each character is well defined to the point of authenticity they feel like neighbors you knew in a past life.

This was a very well-made movie with lots of messages. Everybody's acting was also superb. This movie is about the rape and revenge of a mom for her stepdaughter. But this was a well-directed movie. It showed the pain of the victim and the family after the criminals got away. But after the revenge started and one-by-one every criminal was nailed, it showed how the victim started recovering and felt satisfaction (shown with removing the curtain of her room and then subsequently going on vacation for her own self-recovery). It also showed that we may think we are safe but any unfortunate incident can happen at any time and this is an inevitable fact that in today's world nights are unsafe for a girl as bad people exist everywhere. Our safety is in our own hands. Sridevi was perfect in that role. Her emotions scream, taunt, distress, sadness, anger was brilliant.

The craft is unmistakably there, it's a very polished product that didn't succeed in attracting its audience. Special mention of the cinematography, dialogues, and background songs.

So very much the first scene I saw entering the theater was Aditya Roy Kapoor's back doing the bulk of the talking, which was beautifully captured by the cinematographer and we are introduced to the" ruthless" Aditya Roy Kapoor for the first time in his career. The tempo with which the movie commenced was quite enticing. Very soon the other characters attached to the story were established and revealed with complications they are going through. Anil Kapoor is a flipped cop fighting with inner demons that were absolutely marvelous and treat to watch on screen. Seeing, Kunal Khemu as being the virtuous and convoluted cop was something that was done with pure perfection and ease delivering one of the finest performances of his career. Disha Patani as Sara was more than an eye-candy this time around being recklessly carefree in her approach and a complete delight to watch. But the real Trump card that stood out was Aditya Roy Kapoor as advent, he was completely deceitful in a way ranging from being joyous and loveable to cold-blooded and sadistic human you can imagine off.
